Axolt vs
NetSuite

NetSuite is a capable ERP but it sits outside Salesforce, costs significantly more and takes months to implement. If your business runs on Salesforce, here is what you need to know before you decide.

Bottom line
NetSuite is built for companies who want to replace Salesforce with an unified platform platform. Axolt is built for companies who want to extend Salesforce into operations. If you are already on Salesforce, NetSuite asks you to start over. Axolt asks you to continue.

  • You have budget for a six-figure year-one implementation
  • Deep local compliance across multiple geographies simultaneously
Honest context
What NetSuite is really asking you to do

NetSuite is a genuinely strong ERP platform particularly for finance. Its multi entity consolidation, revenue recognition and multi-currency handling are well-regarded, and its 20+ year track record gives it credibility that newer platforms cannot match on day one.

But for a Salesforce business, NetSuite creates a structural problem it cannot solve: you end up with two enterprise platforms running your company in parallel. Sales lives in Salesforce. Operations lives in NetSuite. Every quote, order, inventory update and customer record has to cross a sync layer and that layer requires maintenance, creates delays and breaks when either platform updates.

Axolt eliminates this problem entirely. It does not integrate with Salesforce. It is Salesforce deployed inside your existing org on the same data model your CRM team already uses. When a deal closes in Salesforce, the production order and inventory reservation happen in the same system, instantly, with no connector in between.

Common questions
Axolt vs NetSuite FAQ
Can Axolt replace NetSuite if I am already using it? +
Yes many businesses move from NetSuite to Axolt specifically to consolidate onto Salesforce. Because Axolt deploys inside Salesforce, there is no new platform to stand up. The transition is supported by Axolt's implementation team, covering data migration from NetSuite's modules into Axolt's Built on Salesforce equivalents.
How much does NetSuite actually cost compared to Axolt? +
NetSuite does not publish pricing. Based on analyst and partner market data, a typical mid-market NetSuite implementation for 20 users costs $50,000–$250,000 in year one including implementation. Axolt for 20 users on the full ERP suite costs approximately $27,600/year in licence fees, with significantly lower implementation cost because it deploys inside your existing Salesforce org.
Does Axolt replace Salesforce? +
No. Axolt extends Salesforce. You keep your existing CRM, your existing Salesforce licences and everything your team already uses. Axolt adds the operational layer inventory, manufacturing, procurement, finance and logistics inside the same platform, on the same data.
Can NetSuite integrate with Salesforce? +
Yes, through third-party connectors such as Celigo or Boomi, or through custom API development. However, these integrations require ongoing maintenance, create data sync delays and add cost. Every time either platform updates, the integration needs testing. Axolt eliminates this entirely because it is built inside Salesforce not connected to it.
